Was ist ein Integrationskurs?

Ein Integrationskurs wird gefördert vom Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF) und besteht aus

- einem Sprachkurs: Er umfasst 600 Unterrichtsstunden Deutsch und endet mit dem “Deutschtest für Zuwanderer" (DTZ) und

-  einem Orientierungskurs: Er hat 100 Unterrichtsstunden und behandelt u.a. das politische System in Deutschland, Geschichte und      Kultur, Rechte und Pflichten, gesellschaftliches Zusammenleben und wichtige Werte wie z.B. Religionsfreiheit, Gleichberechtigung von Mann und Frau. Er schließt mit dem Test „Leben in Deutschland" (LiD) ab.

What is an integration course?

Each general integration course is sponsored by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and consists of 

- a language course: It takes up a total of 600 lesson units and ends with the "German language test for immigrants" (DTZ) and

- a orientation course: It takes 100 lesson  and will discuss subjects like the German legal system, history and culture, rights and obligations in Germany, forms of community life, and values that are important in Germany, such as freedom of religion, tolerance and gender   equality. The orientation course will be completed by taking the "Life in Germany" test (LiD).
